ORLANDO DANCE PHOTOGRAPHY | ABOUT TYLER HAM

I’m Tyler Ham—photographer, choreographer, and lifelong student of movement based in Orlando, Florida. I founded Orlando Dance Photography out of a desire to spotlight dancers and tell their stories through bold, expressive imagery.
My journey began in 2015 when I started dancing at 18. By 2018, I picked up an iPhone 8 and began photographing fellow dancers in the UCF Dance Minor program. I had no formal training—just a deep curiosity and a drive to create. Since then, I’ve worked with countless dancers across Central Florida, combining my passion for movement with a growing love for the lens.
As a dancer and choreographer, I bring a unique eye to my photoshoots. I understand the nuances of quality movement and authentic self-expression, which allows me to not only capture stunning images—but to direct with intention and empathy. Every session is a collaboration rooted in trust, creativity, and care.
In addition to my work with Orlando Dance Photography, I am the editor, videographer, and photographer for Free Movement Society, a professional dance company representing Underground Movement. This role allows me to continuously deepen my connection to the dance community, while creating visual content that elevates the artistry of dancers on and off the stage.

Outside of photography, I teach weekly classes at Underground Movement and continue to create choreographic work. These experiences inform my work behind the camera and fuel my vision: to help dancers see themselves in their fullest light.
If you're ready to move, express, and be seen—you're in the right place.
Let’s create something powerful.
